This charming and colorful brooch consists of two parts — the rainbow arc and a little heart-shaped cloud. It’s very easy to make, and it brings so many smiles!
🌈 For the Rainbow Arc:
Row 1:
With blue yarn, make a chain of 3 chains and join into a ring. Work 4 single crochets into the ring. Turn your work.
Row 2:
Change yarn to light blue. Chain 1, then work 2 single crochets into each stitch of the previous row. Turn.
Row 3:
Change yarn to green. Chain 1, then repeat the following across the row:
Work 1 single crochet into each of the next 2 stitches, then 2 single crochets into the next stitch.
Repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Turn.
Row 4:
Change yarn to yellow. Chain 1, then repeat the following:
Work 1 single crochet into each of the next 3 stitches, then 2 single crochets into the next stitch.
Repeat to the end of the row. Turn.
Row 5:
Change yarn to orange. Chain 1 and single crochet evenly along the arc. Turn.
Row 6:
Change yarn to red. Chain 1 and single crochet evenly across again.
✅ The rainbow arc is complete!
☁️ For the Heart-Shaped Cloud:
With white yarn, chain 4 and join into a ring.
Then work into the ring:
3 chains (as first dc), 3 double treble crochets, 4 double crochets, 1 double treble crochet,
1 picot (3 chains, slip stitch into first chain), 1 double treble crochet, 4 double crochets, 3 double treble crochets,
then chain 3 and finish with 1 single crochet into the ring to close.

To make the brooch sturdier, you can glue or sew it onto a felt backing.
Then attach a brooch pin to the back of the felt, and finally sew or glue the cloud to the rainbow arc.
