Round 3

Ch 2, in the ch-space work 4 hdc.

Round 4

Ch 3, in the first hdc of the next group, work 2 dc.

Construction

Make 8 motifs

Follow the stitch diagram.

Join Motifs

Using white yarn, join 4 motifs for the front and 4 motifs for the back.
Join them using single crochet along the motifs’ edges.

Close the sides and bottom of the bag with 1 row of single crochet.

Lining

Sew a taffeta lining (same size as the bag).
Insert it into the crocheted bag and sew with invisible stitches along the top edge.

Edging

With pink yarn, crochet:

1 row of single crochet around the top edge
1 row of picot around the top edge.

Strap (Handle)

Cut four strands 120 cm long each:
White, pink, yellow, and light blue.

Braid the 4 strands.
Tie off the ends to form 6 cm fringes.

Sew the strap to the upper sides of the bag.

Bottom Fringe

Make 6 cm fringe using one strand of each color.
