Ch 4 and join with 1 sl st to form a round. Continue working in rounds according to the crochet chart. Each round begins with the starting ch as shown and ends with 1 sl st in the last starting ch. If needed, use sl sts to move to the beginning of the round. Work rounds 1–12 once.

Crochet Symbols:

  • • = 1 Ch (Chain)
  • o = 1 Sl St (Slip Stitch)
  • I = 1 Sc (Single Crochet)
  • T = 1 Hdc (Half Double Crochet)
  • † = 1 Dc (Double Crochet)
  • ‡ = 1 Tr (Treble Crochet / Triple Crochet)
  • ‡ with two horizontal bars = 1 Dtr (Double Treble Crochet)
  • ‡ with three horizontal bars = 1 Trtr (Triple Treble Crochet)
  • • (filled oval with vertical line) = 1 Bobble Stitch: *1 Yarn over on the hook, insert into the Ch of the previous row and pull up a loop and draw through and lengthen, from * repeat 3 more times, then yarn over and pull through all loops, and close the Bobble Stitch with 1 Ch.
  • O: (oval with colon) = 1 Beginning Bobble Stitch: 3 Ch, *1 Yarn over on the hook, insert into the Ch of the previous row and pull up a loop and draw through and lengthen, from * repeat 2 more times, then yarn over and pull through all loops, and close the Bobble Stitch with 1 Ch.

NOTE: If the symbols above close, the stitches are decreased. If the symbols below run, the stitches are worked into one stitch.
